Mother's Day and Father's Day

Sam made these for us for mother's day and father's day and the "mommy and me" picture we took at the school party.

Cape Vacation 2010!!!

One of the sunniest and hottest cape vacations ever! Sam was naked almost every second of the entire two weeks and came home brown as can be. He swam everyday, went kayaking, dug for steamers, caught crabs and jelly fish, ate ice cream daily, sent aunt Hat to jail over and over again, and soaked everyone and everything with the sprinkler. The rest of us tried to stay cool by swimming, watching the world cup in front of the fan, reading (we were all reading the same Stieg Larsson series) and on the hottest of the days....we went to Target and TJmax for some air conditioning. The fireworks in Onset were perfect...and while Sam loved the first 15 minutes he decided half way through that he wanted to go home and go to sleep...but he had a second wind when we decided we needed ice cream (I am 8 months pregnant after all - my needs over bed time, please!). On the 4th we sat out on the cliff and watched 14 different firework shows all around the bay - amazing. Oh...and there was the two week old deer on the beach...and the squirrel in the laundry room but those are stories for another time...
